1. Relationship with TakeAwayDriver

TakeAwayDriver currently provides registration, matching and introduction services. It does not employ you, guarantee work or earnings, require you to accept an opportunity, provide a vehicle or control how an agreed delivery service is carried out.

2. Your independent responsibilities

You are responsible for assessing your legal, tax and employment status for each arrangement. The reality of the working relationship takes priority over any label used by you, a business or the platform.

3. Eligibility and information

You must be at least 18, provide accurate and current information and immediately tell us if information relevant to your suitability, vehicle, licence, insurance or right to work changes.

4. Driving, vehicle and insurance

Before accepting work, you must ensure that you hold a valid licence, the vehicle is lawful and roadworthy, and you have insurance that covers the actual delivery activity. Ordinary social, domestic and pleasure cover may not be sufficient.

5. Conduct and safety

You must act lawfully and professionally, follow road and food-handling requirements, protect customer information, avoid harassment or discrimination, and decline work that cannot be carried out safely or lawfully.

6. Opportunities and direct agreements

An introduction is not an offer of employment or a guaranteed engagement. You and the business must agree scope, times, location, payment, expenses, cancellation and any other practical terms directly.

7. Verification

We may request evidence and record a verification status. Checks are limited, point-in-time checks and do not transfer your continuing responsibilities to TakeAwayDriver.

8. Payments and tax

During the current launch model, businesses pay drivers directly. You are responsible for invoices, records, expenses and any tax, National Insurance or registration obligations that apply to you.

9. Suspension

We may suspend or remove a profile where information is false or outdated, a safety or legal concern arises, complaints indicate material risk, or these terms are breached.

10. Other policies

These terms supplement our Website Terms, Privacy Policy, Verification Policy, Risk Notice and Acceptable Use Policy. Where a mandatory legal right applies, these terms do not remove it.
